Commercial EICR in Luton

The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 say electrical systems at work must be kept safe. A regular EICR is the usual way to show you have checked.

There is no single fixed interval for every business. The electrician sets the next test date on your report. It is based on how the premises are used and the state of the wiring.

Offices and shops are commonly tested up to every 5 years. Places with more wear or risk, such as restaurants, takeaways and industrial units, are usually tested more often.

Each circuit has to be switched off while it is tested. We agree a plan with you first, so tills, fridges and computers stay on at busy times.
