If you are a homeowner you may be eligible for a free boiler replacement grant. Free boiler grants are funded by UK energy companies and don't need to be repaid.
The Government's Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme offers subsidised insulation and heating improvements to homeowners on low incomes, vulnerable residents and households receiving certain benefits.
Homeowners may qualify for a completely free replacement of their old boiler with a new, energy-efficient one.
With the ECO scheme you can get:
- A subsidised gas boiler replacement
- Free cavity wall insulation
- Free loft insulation
