What We Fit
We fit gas hobs, cookers, range cookers and gas fires. Each one is connected to your gas supply, set up to the maker's instructions and tested before use.
If you have already bought the appliance, tell us the make and model when you book. We can then check it suits your gas supply and the space it is going in.
Why It Must Be a Gas Safe Engineer
A badly fitted gas appliance can leak gas or give off carbon monoxide, which you cannot see or smell. That is why the law says only a Gas Safe registered engineer can do gas work.
Ask to see your engineer's Gas Safe ID card. Every registered engineer carries one, and you can check it on the Gas Safe Register website.
Moving or Adding a Gas Pipe
Planning a new kitchen layout? If the cooker or hob is moving, the gas pipe needs to move with it. We run the new pipe and fit a valve to turn the gas off. Then we test the whole run for leaks.
Book us before the new worktops go in, so the pipe can be run neatly out of sight.
For Landlords
A new gas appliance in a rented home becomes part of your yearly gas safety check. We can add it to a fresh gas safety check at the same visit.
Landlords in England must also fit a carbon monoxide alarm in any room with a fixed gas appliance. That includes a gas fire or boiler, but not a gas cooker.
